Luxury hair powders: volume and styling texture

Illustrative hair powder is associated with styling volume without suggesting an effect on hair growth.

Adding shape without confusing product roles

A styling powder is selected for the volume or texture it gives a hairstyle. It differs from coloured root-concealing products and from dry shampoo. Depending on the packaging, powder may be dispensed directly or through a spray mechanism, a distinction that affects placement precision and the amount delivered onto the hair.

Controlling the amount at the roots

Apply gradually as instructed, then assess the result before adding more. Excess powder can become noticeable or make hair feel less pleasant, especially when several styling products overlap. Washing retains its own role in scalp care; a volumising powder is not designed to take the place of that step over an extended period.
