Luxury makeup removers: milk, oil and dual-phase formulas

Matching removal to the makeup worn

Water-resistant mascara and a light foundation do not necessarily need the same makeup remover. Oils, milks and dual-phase formulas use different application methods to lift pigments. Check the permitted application area: a product intended for facial use is not automatically suitable for the eye contour or for removing lip colour.

Avoiding unnecessary rubbing

Follow the stated contact time and removal method instead of repeatedly pressing and rubbing with a cotton pad. Some formulas are rinsed away, while others are wiped off or followed by another cleansing step. Adjust the gesture according to the result; frequent tightness is not evidence that skin has been cleaned more effectively.
