NARS: complexion coverage and expressive makeup

Three liquid foundations from light beige to brown, with swatches and a makeup brush.
Unbranded foundation illustrates the coverage discussion in this NARS guide.

Build complexion coverage in selected areas

NARS offers foundations, concealers and cheek products that can be used independently. Localised correction does not always require substantial coverage across the whole face. Identify the areas you want to even out, then compare textures and shades within the relevant official categories instead of assuming that one product must perform every complexion task.

Make colour an intentional part of the look

Blush, lipstick or eyeshadow can alter a makeup look without requiring an entirely new collection. Start with the desired finish and assess intensity through a light application. Names such as Light Reflecting and Powermatte describe different product families, whose individual pages still need to be checked for the characteristics of a specific formula.
