Luxury skincare ampoules: packaging and careful use

Small volume does not prove greater potency

An ampoule first describes packaging, often associated with an application programme defined by its manufacturer. Its presentation may suggest professional treatment, but it is neither an injection nor a medicine. Ingredients, their combination and documented results matter more than a technical-looking container when assessing the claims made for the cosmetic formula.

Opening and applying as instructed

Glass ampoules require opening according to the supplied directions to avoid fragments and improvised handling. Check the amount, permitted areas and instructions after opening. A programme containing demanding ingredients should not automatically overlap with similar treatments; the cosmetic schedule still needs to remain compatible with the comfort of the skin.
